ToolSuno

Education blog Ditch That Textbook shows teachers how to type a short description into Suno and, about a minute later, get a custom song with lyrics, music and vocals to help pupils remember a new idea. Custom mode lets you write your own lyrics and choose the style.

Prompt to copy
Write lyrics for a short, catchy [STYLE, E.G. POP / SEA SHANTY / RAP] song that helps [AGE]-year-olds remember [TOPIC, E.G. THE PLANETS IN ORDER]. Keep it to two verses and a chorus, use simple words, and make sure every fact is correct.

Replace the [PLACEHOLDERS] with your own details before you send it.

How to try it

  1. Write or check the lyrics first (with your own knowledge or a chatbot) so the facts are right.
  2. In Suno, switch on Custom, paste the lyrics and describe the music style you want.
  3. Play it to the class and use the chorus as a quick recap. Under-18s need parental consent to use Suno, so the teacher should make the songs.
